GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Lussolac fire resistant varnish is a clear fire resistant varnish suitable for the protection of wooden surfaces in case of fire situations. Following the proposed application instructions on interior wooden surfaces (classification D-s2,d0 or better) can protect them from fire, providing the substrate with fire resistant properties.

FIRE RESISTING ABILITY
The product is tested and classified as Β-s1,d0 , by MPA-Braunschweig according to DIN EN 13823:2001-12 and DIN EN ISO 11925-2:2002-07 standards and is approved by the Greek Fire Department. Classification index B refers to a product which is capable of resisting a small flame attack for a short period of time without substantial flame spread. Classification index s1 refers to very limited total smoke production and very limited ratio of increase in smoke production. Classification index d0 corresponds to zero creation of flaming droplets/particles and is the maximum classification that can be acquired by a clear fire resistant varnish. Maximum results are accomplished with a quantity of coating > 450 g/m2 .
